The Impact of Your Gift
Soybeans made a significant difference for communities in West Africa that were struggling with hunger. It started with a project to teach pastors’ wives, who were students at a local Christian college, how to cultivate and prepare soybeans. Once they graduated, students were gifted soybeans and returned to their communities to teach others. Meeting physical needs gave them the opportunity to share the gospel. One participant said, “We thank God for the soybean project. It is helping us with mission work in the village. When we organized the training, we also invited women of other faiths in the community. We had four Muslim women attend. We are now friends, and we are sharing the love of Christ with them.”
