The Impact of Your Gift
In a large North African city, your gifts provided blankets and food for refugees fleeing war-torn countries. Many of these refugees were experiencing cold weather for the first time in their lives. The distributions also helped bring more people to the ministry center, where they were introduced to the staff and volunteers and had their names and contact information registered for follow up. Vincent*, a member of the refugee community himself, is a leader in the refugee ministry. He has seen many people benefiting in obvious ways like receiving blankets and food. But he states that we can't underestimate the impact of the center’s open doors to the community in other ways as well. The distributions have brought many people into contact with the center who wouldn't otherwise have known to come or had any interaction with the staff and local believers.
